Students who are in the final year of the undergraduate program are eligible to apply, but MUST observe the following before submitting an application.
- You are required to NOT apply for graduation in Spring, so as to keep your student status active throughout the Summer Term. You should apply for graduation in Summer Term instead. For details, please refer to ARR’s Application for Graduation website.
- Note that undergraduate students who complete graduation requirements in the Spring Term normally can receive their Award Certification Letter starting from mid-July. The Award Certification Letter is proof of your completion of graduation requirements. If you choose to graduate in Summer Term instead, your Award Certification Letter will not be available until after mid-September. In the meantime, it is possible for you to apply for a provisional Award Certification Letter. This, however, will only state your first major. Any other majors or minors and your honor details will not be provided on this document. While it does not delay your congregation, you are reminded to consider whether the delay in obtaining your Award Certification Letter has any negative effects on your job hunting, postgraduate studies, or other personal matters.

Expenses and Financial Aid
|
Expenses
Participants will be responsible for ALL costs to be incurred, including but not limited to visa application (if any) and travel expenses.
Financial Aid (NOT APPLICABLE)
The Pilot Mainland Experience Scheme (PMES) for Post-secondary Students is a pilot project launched by the HKSAR government since 1 July 2011 to subsidize on a matching basis post-secondary students participating in short-term internship or learning programs in the Mainland. Institutions may use the matched funds for operating programs under the Scheme for a maximum period of eight years, i.e. up to 30 June 2019.
Starting from the 2019/20 academic year, the Education Bureau (EDB) introduces a new scheme, namely the Scheme for Non-means-tested Mainland Experience Scheme for Post-secondary Students (Non-means-tested MES), which provides a non-means-tested subsidy funding for both local and non-local students who enrolled in eligible programs to participate in outbound exchange activities comprising substantive teaching and learning elements to be held in the Mainland. And therefore, the cultural exchange programs are NO LONGER ELIGIBLE for applying the subsidy scheme.
