Roy To Community Service Award

About the Award
The Roy To Community Service Award was established in June 2008 in memory of Mr. Roy To, an HKUST graduate who passed away in a traffic accident on a service trip to Inner Mongolia organized by the World Emergency Relief.

The award aims to recognize HKUST students with exceptional contribution to community service.

Full-time UG and PG students with a proven track record of continuous and active participation in community service.

The award will be presented every year to the HKUST student who best exemplifies the service spirit for which the late Mr. Roy To is remembered. A cash award of $5,000 and a medal will be presented to the awardee.

Applications/nominations are to be made by the submission of online application form.

26 February 2017

The Selection Panel, composed of the Dean of Students, Director of Student Affairs, faculty and staff members, and a student, will base on the proven track records provided to select awardee. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to meet with the Selection Panel.
