Learning Cantonese
If you are planning to take up employment in Hong Kong upon your graduation, you are strongly advised to make use of your time at HKUST to learn Cantonese. The Center for Language Education offers a variety of Cantonese courses. You can also improve your Cantonese by participating in activities organized by the Language Commons.
