In Case of Typhoons or Rainstorms |

When there is a typhoon or rainstorm signal, take necessary precautions and make sure all loose items are properly fastened and all windows are closed.

When typhoon signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, all normal activities on campus will stop.

When typhoon signal No. 8 or 10; or a black rainstorm signal is hoisted, stay indoors wherever you are and do not leave the building until the signal is lowered and the condition is safe to do so.
Classes/Examinations Arrangement in case of Typhoon & Rainstorm Black Warning
All (including online) classes/examinations will be cancelled when Typhoon Signal No. 8 is to be hoisted within 2 hours.
If Signal No. 8 or Black Warning is lowered

At or before 6:30 am, classes/examinations (including online) starting from 8:30 am and onwards will be held as scheduled.

At or before 12 noon, classes/examinations (including online) starting from 2 pm and onwards will be held as scheduled, while classes/ examinations (including online) starting before 2 pm will be cancelled.

At or before 4 pm, classes/examinations (including online) starting from 6 pm and onwards will be held as scheduled, while classes/ examinations (including online) starting before 6 pm will be cancelled.
If Signal No. 8 or above or Black Warning is still in place at 4 pm, all (including online) evening classes/examinations will be cancelled.
When Rainstorm Amber / Red Warning signal is in effect, all scheduled classes/examinations (including online) will be held as usual. |
